Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy (KAP) is an innovative, safe, legal and effective approach that combines ketamine with therapy to treat various psychological conditions and issues.

Ketamine, used off-label, can be effective in treating mental health conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma. While it doesn’t mean it’s a guaranteed fix, it does open a much needed door for people struggling to progress with more traditional forms of therapy.

KAP is a gentle approach with the healing potential to enhance and accelerate your therapeutic process. It is a fascinating and refreshing way of learning about yourself and others. Explorations with ketamine can bring you more awareness of the transcendence, beauty and mystery in life which are also transformative.

Many have found that their experience with ketamine led to therapeutic breakthroughs at a faster rate than traditional talk therapy.

While a single ketamine session can open the potential for new ways of thinking and being, successive ketamine sessions will enhance and sustain your growth and healing. The research demonstrates that six to eight ketamine sessions are most effective.

Originally used in anesthesia, ketamine, at much lower dosages, is now showing potential for relief from symptoms, deeper understanding of their root causes, and increased agency to make desired changes. All of this generally results in improvement in over all well-being

This is considered a breakthrough in mental health as ketamine can immediately improve your mood and generate new neural pathways in the brain that create openings for long-lasting healing. Although not a magic cure, ketamine is a powerful tool and catalyst for your healing.

This work consists of a consultation with a medical provider, preparation for sessions, the ketamine dosing session or “journey” and integration afterward.

I collaborate with a medical provider who will consult with you about your health, and, if you’re eligible, prescribe the ketamine medicine.

My role is to help you prepare for your ketamine sessions, support you during them and help you integrate your experience afterward.

Ketamine-assisted work isn’t only about the short period of time the medicine is in your system. That’s the starting point to new insights, feelings, and a sense of empowerment with increased agency. Your life can change because you have new emotional musculature to make the kinds of changes you want. So, what you do with it and how you move forward with what you learned is just as important.

You’ll take active steps alongside your exploration on ketamine for positive outcomes and change. Since ketamine increases neuroplasticity in your brain for a window of at least two weeks or longer, you can mindfully use that time to learn and practice new habits and ways of being.

This can help free you from old stuck somatic, mental and emotional patterns that cause suffering. Freedom from toxic beliefs you’ve internalized, allows you to begin to design and create more of the kind of life you want - practically on a moment to moment basis.

I help you with moving forward. It’s a bit like gardening. We gather the new seeds from your experience and discuss how to plant, nourish and take care of them. They are your seeds for growth and transformation.

If you already have a therapist or coach, I can collaborate with them to provide the ketamine portion of your treatment.

Almost anyone, who is eligible, can benefit from using this safe and effective approach.
