Depression & Anxiety

Depression is a beast, isn’t it?
It robs you of your joy,
separates you from your creativity and passion.
makes it hard to get up and get going in the morning.
You’re grumpy with the people you love
and just plain glum.
Your mind keeps telling you that you’re no good,
the tears won’t stop.
You can’t find it in you to do the things
you know you need to do.
Work suffers.  Relationships suffer.

Anxiety is no fun either.
You’re all keyed up, agitated
wildly beating heart, sweating palms,
upset stomach,
worry running rampant,
scary thoughts.
You can’t focus or concentrate.
Wide awake at 3:00 AM
because your brain won’t shut off.

There are important things you can learn about yourself,
once your mood has settled down.
I can help you learn to tame your moods,
feel better, and find out
what was causing your distress.

Sometimes people feel embarrassed or ashamed
to ask for help with depression or anxiety.
But really, it’s the smartest thing you can do.

Get the tools you need to become
your own mood-tamer.
